MACONDO Macondo is young, fresh and hip. Named after the fictional village in Gabriel García Márquez “One Hundred Years of Solitude”, our Tapería Latina is a magical oasis bursting with West Village energy. You may catch "Macondo locals" enjoying a "porron", a fun way of drinking wine poured out of a traditional glass wine pitcher with a spout, raised high above the mouth.
Macondo West pays homage to Latino Street Food, signature Latino Tapas, created with the free spirit of being influenced by flavors and traditions from all over the Spanish-speaking world and yet still respecting its traditional base.
